We have all been there, right? We are leading candidates for sometimes taking the easy option. However, we want to help you understand some (there are plenty) of the benefits that battling through & exercising can bring. Maybe thinking of the benefits below will help give you & us the motivation we need to power through.

  3. Reduces anxiety, depression & stress - exercising helps us focus on our body rather than our mind, taking attention away from how we feel. The feel-good hormones also help reduce the stress that we feel, whilst completing exercise gives us a sense of optimism & improving our outlook for what we can achieve    
     
  4. Increased energy levels - exercising regularly can reduce feelings of fatigue. As our body adapts to exercising regularly, our heart & lung health improves, making it easier for our body to move oxygen around the body  

  5. Reduce risk of serious illness - it has been shown that individuals that exercise regularly have a lower risk of type 2 diabetes, dementia, heart disease & other serious illnesses  

  6. Become part of a community - group exercise can help you feel a part of a social group or community. This can bring many benefits including a sense of belonging, accountability to exercise or healthy competition to push yourself
